　　Queen of drag, RuPaul, a revolutionary performer and avatar of glamour recognized around the globe, recently opened the doors to his very eclectic $13.7 MILLION Beverly Hills mansion, revealing an unsurprisingly maximalist décor. The mansion of RuPaul, who is renowned for his exuberant flair and creative flamboyance, is designed to reflect his personality, with contrasting colours, cool designs, and textures, bursting with vibrancy,elegant glamour and modernity.

　　The home, built in 1980, was remodelled to fit RuPaul's colourful aesthetic by designerMartyn Lawrence Bullard, transforming the property into a fever dream of Hollywood, combining the homes' original classical detailing with modern pops of colour and elements, designed as the centre stage for the world’s most famous and celebrated drag queen.

　　好莱坞摄政风

　　宅邸呈好莱坞摄政风格(Hollywood Regency)，这种风格诞生并盛行于20世纪30至50年代，当时也是好莱坞电影的黄金时期，好莱坞摄政风格推崇极繁主义与华丽张扬的个性。其中软垫座椅、鸡尾酒桌和地毯也是Martyn Lawrence Bullard的独家设计，而沙发则覆盖着Manuel Canovas天鹅绒，俱乐部椅子采用Jim Thompson Fabrics孔雀石图案。

　　To the right of the entry hall is the formal living room, outfitted with jewel-toned fabrics and pagoda-form étagères designed byMartyn Lawrence Bullard Atelier, inspired by the great decorator Tony Duquette. The upholstered seating, cocktail table and Carpet are also exclusive designs of Martyn Lawrence Bullard, while the sofas are covered in aManuel Canovas velvet, and the club chair inJim Thompson Fabrics malachite pattern.

　　The eclectic decorative drama starts ringing from the moment one steps through the front door into the powdery-rose entry hall featuring a sweeping stairway, with a beautiful floral patterned wrought iron railing, and featuring a bright red Martyn Lawrence Bullard Atelierbench.

　　华丽舞厅

　　一组巨型迪斯科球从天花板垂悬而下，统一灰调组合闪亮特质，是一种非常经典的时尚与奢华。墙面上挂满了传奇天后的肖像，包括Billie Holiday、Grace Jones、Eartha Kitt与Dorothy Dandridge等，可谓群星璀璨。迪斯科球由Omega Mirror Products出品;圆桌和休闲椅均由MLB Atelier打造，休闲椅的软包采用了来自Schumacher的“Faux Bois”系列面料;窗帘由Martyn Lawrence Bullard设计，The Shade Store出品。

　　To the left of the entry, is the jaw-dropping ballroom, crowned with 26 black and silver disco balls byOmega Mirror Products, hanging above aMartyn Lawrence Bullard Ateliertable and chairs inSchumacher Faux Bois fabric. A 1975 portrait of Diana Ross, by photographer Harry Langdon, surmounts a modern black and white fireplace, while on the opposite side, yellow vintage chairs by Tommi Parzinger, welcomes each guest into the exclusive interior. Several black and white portraits of disco icons, such as of Billie Holiday, Grace Jones, Eartha Kitt, and Dorothy Dandridge, also adorns the walls of the room.

　　鲜艳夺目的橙色

　　除了经久不衰的黑白，空间中运用了大量的橙色，华丽激昂，让人感受到永不停歇的时尚生命力。餐厅的装饰采用了大量的自然元素，森林、树叶、花，令人感受到一派赋有生机的景象。定制扶手椅致敬了美国传奇室内设计师Frances Elkins(1888～1953)的经典之作。丛林纹样壁纸来自法国品牌Ananbô。中古吊灯出自Tommaso Barbi之手。

　　The breakfast room is outfitted with striking orange chairs designed by Frances Elkins and a gold leaf-design light fixture by Tommaso Barbi, adorned with anAnanbôpanoramic wallpaper, and flooring byMartyn Lawrence Bullard for Duchateau.The kitchen also features the common black and white colour scheme with pops of orange colour and flower motifs.

　　奢华私密会所&工作室

　　RuPaul在宅邸中为自己的团队配备了工作室与个人办公空间。个人空间的醒目艳丽，强调了极富张扬的个性与奢华。工作室则采用了黑白色调，一对Treviso Soho Home吊灯悬挂屋顶，开放式的造型非常有创新和活力。同时运用黑色与金色，构建了一个神秘奢华的私密世界。在不面对公众的时刻，Ru将独享这份豪华惬意时刻。吧台椅由MLB Atelier出品，流苏来自Samuel & Sons。

　　RuPaul’s Mansionalso has a home-production office and personal office with an impressive collection of Emmy awards.The at-home production office has a pair of TrevisoSoho Home chandeliers, asisal rug by Stark Carpet, a white conference table by Voila Creative Studio withgreen CB2 desk chairs, and ablack and white Tanzania Thibaut wallpaper, which matches the black & white features of the property.

　　丰富多彩衣帽间

　　The home has two enormous walk-in closets, one for male attire, the other for drag, which features racks of clothing organized by color and style, along with square cabinets filled with matching accessories. Against the black-and-white backdrops, bursts of colour can be found throughout from the bright pink Yvonne chairs byChristopher Anthony, beneathEichholtz’s Hyeres ceiling lampsin the drag closet.
